A Passport, A Presumed Presidency & A Regret

My neighbor went to get his passport. They declined to even accept his application. What could be so very bad as to cause the postal representative to decline to even accept his application for a passport? It was his birth certificate. He was born in the state of California. The state of California had provided him with an "Abstract Birth Certificate" which clearly stated on it "This Is An Official Document". I studied his birth certificate it is and was an official document from the recognized state of California.

His "Abstract Birth Certificate" provided a plethora of information about him and his parents and his birth. Yet, the postal service representative would not accept his certified abstract birth certificate as evidence of his natural born citizenship. He contacted the federal government travel department in Philadelphia about this issue. He spoke with a very nice woman who took the time to give him an explanation along with loads of information about obtaining his "long form birth certificate"

This very informative government worker told my friend that his "Certified Abstract Birth Certificate" was not acceptable for proving his citizenship for the purpose of obtaining a United States passport, the long form birth certificate was a requirement for obtaining a United States passport.

I should take a moment and explain something about my neighbor. He was an avid Barack Obama supporter during the general election. We have not been speaking too much because he found through our 'talks' during the general election he had no answer for any of my questions about his support for Barack Obama. At least none of the substantive questions. Basically his support came down to the hazy fact that Barack Obama was the democratic option and he was black therefor making it historic and something many have waited for and of course the old change mantra.

Having had this passport experience apparently he did some reflection. Reflection on a conversation he and I had previously had about Barack Obama and his birth certificate and the many issues Barack Obama would not allow anyone access to the information about, i.e. his school records, trip to Pakistan, and so very much more.

Fast forward to last night when for the first time in several months Jim, my neighbor, came knocking on my door. He came in and walked past our "Bucking The Party" yard sign and sat down and told us all about his birth certificate/passport saga. After going through his story and my examining his "Abstract Birth Certificate" he looked at me and said "Why didn't Barack Obama have to show a long form birth certificate to run for president, if I have to show one to get a damn passport?"

All I could do was laugh. It was as if a light bulb had finally turned on and the light was blinding him. I could see he was troubled and upset but all I could say was "There is the 64,000 dollar question" We spent the following 4 hours discussing the primary the election and his growing regret for the vote he had cast.

Imagine an everyday working man born and raised in the United States can not get his passport to take his wife on their first overseas trip without providing the federal government with his long form birth certificate, but a man can be elected to the highest office in the land and never produce any valid documentation about who he is or who he has been.

The times they are a changing.

Signs of Desperation Becoming Evident

The signs of desperation within the Obama campaign are becoming overtly evident.

First consider the Obama campaign bans a news station in Florida for asking decent questions. We have all be waiting for someone to ask some decent questions of Barack Obama and/or Joe Biden. The news coverage of Barack Obama has been like watching a sickeningly sweet love fest.

Second consider Barack Obama is in Iowa desperately trying to shore up Iowa's 7 electoral votes, LOL. I know internal polls are putting Obama in trouble in much more than Iowa. He has much more to be worried about from the looks of the internal polls.

Third today Oct.31 the Obama campaign kicked reporters for The Washington Times and The New York Post and The Dallas Morning News off the Obama campaign plane. These 3 newspapers have something in common these newspapers all endorsed John McCain. Although the campaign claims space is an issue it is rather uncomfortable or coincidental that all three kicked off had endorsed John McCain.

The signs of desperation are mounting!! I humbly predict John McCain will win this election.

The quasi military draft in Barack Obama's Budget?

Is there a hidden quasi military draft in Barack Obama's budget. It is one I do not think American college students nor their parents nor many Americans will find.....umm pleasant. I do not understand why college students would cast a vote for someone purposing this kind of budget which will effect many many that attempt to gain an education or why a parent facing the daunting higher education bills for a child or even why any American would seek to send more of our desperately needed funds to foreign shores to help others who are also in need.

The education of our youth and the re-training of many in our current work force is imperative to the future financial stability and the future economic welfare of this country. Having said that not everyone is cut out to be a doctor or a lawyer no more than everyone is cut out to be a plumber or an autoworker or a chicken farmer. Regardless of what you yourself or your child or your neighbor is cut out for in life, America MUST provide opportunity to you to earn a respectable living to care for yourself and your family. Without that opportunity we stagnate and then we deteriorate. Folks we, in America are already stagnating sliding toward deterioration. Yet, many of the youth in this country and many of the lower income Americans believe Barack Obama's budget holds the key to our economic prosperity. Does it or does it hide another agenda?

(READ THIS CAREFULLY) According to the highly respected US Budget Watch Barack Obama's budget calls for the following "Eliminate the Federal Education Loan Program" to save approx 3 billion dollars. Further his budget seeks to "Double Foreign Aid" adding approx 25 billion to the budget, but we are not done. There is another surprise in Barack Obama's budget "Increase the Size of the Military" adding approx 20 billion to the US budget. These 3 portions of Mr. Obama's budget mean an additional 43 BILLION DOLLARS IN SPENDING.

Looking at Barack Obama's budget proposal leaves me with some questions. As a parent how will my child afford to finish college? As a taxpayer who's country is in financial distress why would I be willing to send so much more money to foreign countries when my own country needs so much help in so many areas. As an American citizen who supports the military and does not seek to see a return to the days when soldiers where called foul names and publicly disrespected, what about increasing the prestige of the military rather than just increasing the size of the military? Does one follow the other? These seem like simple questions many people would have when looking at these proposals. I warn you, you may not like what I see in Barack Obama's budget.

Prospective college students will have some options. First they or their parents can pay for everything up front all year and then at the end of the year when they file their taxes they can claim an education credit and wait next to the mailbox with baited breath for their income tax return. Now for some this is financially plausible. For many this is not an option, my family included. Let me explain. My son's college bill next year will be approx. $25,000.00, granted that is an out of state university and a technical degree, so it is possibly higher than some other college degrees.

I mean no one any offense here but there are not alot of families out there with an extra 1-2 thousand dollars per month to pay for college expenses and then wait for our currently bankrupt federal government to pay a credit at the end of the year. Of course that would be after filling out endless forms including verification forms proving the student that you are claiming this credit for has performed the required hours of civil service. Then waiting to find out if you have filled them out correctly or paying someone else several hundred dollars to fill out these endless forms for you. After all, Albert Einstein said "The hardest thing to understand is the income tax." he also said "It is too difficult for a mathematician. It takes a philosopher."

Fear not that is only one of the options. Remember that little "Increase the size of the military" 20 billion dollars in Barack Obama's budget? This is the option Barack Obama euphemistically calls "civil service". I completely agree with the concept of civil service in exchange for college education the problem is I do not support forced military service for everyone. The only thing this option offers is a quasi draft. There is an enormous difference between civil service and military service.

To force military service by holding higher education over middle and low income prospective college students heads does not serve our military. The United States military is for many a calling, a yearning a drive or desire for many it grows into a calling or drive or desire but it is their personal choice. It seems that Barack Obama seeks to eliminate that personal choice, which negates the fact that many people are simply not cut out for military service. Apparently that includes Barack Obama himself who has never served a single day in the Armed Forces.

Is there another hidden option for prospective college students? Could there be 'civil service' by means of foreign aid? Why yes there can be, at least according to Barack Obama. We can send our children to far flung shores to 'serve foreign nations in need' in exchange for 2 years of college education. Once again this is turning what is an altruistic calling for many into forced service for those who have no calling for this service. This can only serve to degrade the services offered, place the children of this nation in situations they do not desire to be in and are not equipped for there by placing them in unpleasant situations at the least to potentially dangerous situations. All in exchange for 2 years of college education.

Although we have explored, albeit superficially, some of the ramifications of this budget on the children of this nation there is one glaring fact this budget ignores. Many college degrees require much much more than 2 years of college. So then what happens? Our children are adults who have given 2 years of military/foreign service just beginning

their freshman year at college and facing 4 or more years of school, bills, living expenses to be able to attend college or live with mom and dad until they are in their 30's or longer. It seems to me that Barack Obama's budget puts college pretty far out of reach to anyone but the very wealthy and puts the majority of middle class and lower income bracket children in the military.

In a final word. My grandmother used to say don't tell someone else their house is dirty if you haven't cleaned your own. Well America needs to clean up its financial house, so to speak. Before running out onto the world stage and throwing 25 BILLION DOLLARS MORE at other countries because their financial houses are lacking.

Joe Biden tells the coming & I Don't Scream by Karen Hill

Joe Biden, Vice Presidential candidate, confirmed what many already thought. His now infamous statement "it will not be 6 months before the world test Barack Obama". I want to scream....Duh, but I shall refrain.

Since I am not screaming instead I want to look at what he said and just how insanely scary it is. He compared a potential 2008-2009 "testing" of Barack Obama as President of the United States to what John Kennedy faced with the Cuban Missile Crisis.

I am not going to justify this absurd statement with much, instead I am going to ask you to do something. Today when you are out and about, stop and look around. Are you at an airport? In a shopping mall? At a grocery store? At the zoo? Did you stop at the post office? Now think about the busiest place you were today and think about all those faces gliding past you. People hustling and bustling about their business in the usual hurry we Americans are in.

Now, which one has the dirty bomb?

Are you or your child or your wife or your husband in the path of some religious fanatical group at the grocery store? At the mall? Picking your child up from school? Enjoying a brisk day at the park with your family? Who dies? Who is maimed for life? Because some radical faction somewhere in some far flung part of the world wants to test an inexperienced, ultra-leftist, America comes 2nd, presidential candidate?

Now look at your wife or your husband or your child and I ask you.....is this a test your willing to take? Your very life or that of someone you love may very well hang in the balance.

Give me a break. This is coming from a life long, once proud democrat......screw you! How dare you NOT look into this candidate of miracles this fraud who has the nerve and the impudence to tell the Federal court in Pennsylvania, whaaa don't make me prove I was born in the United States....whaaa don't make me prove I was not adopted by an Indonesian and became an Indonesian citizen..... whaaa that might cause me "injury". How dare you have the gall the audacity to put my country, my life and the lives of my loved ones in the hands of some utopia peddling pompous fraud.

Grow up. The communes are all gone. Utopia doesn't exist on earth and you are not going to create it. Life is not fair and it never has been and never will be. We try to make it as fair as we can but here is a clue, THE WHOLE WORLD DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME IDEA OF UTOPIA YOU FOOL.

Utopia for quite afew out there is veiled women, sharia law, Islamic rule and a complete end to womens rights, gay rights, children's rights, rights of any and every kind. To whom will you complain about a woman candidate for vice president referred to as a "Cunt" to whom will you scream when a woman candidate for the office of the president of the United States is called a "Bitch" when women no longer have the right to be heard at all? You think this is over reacting?

Well, when was the last time you were in Europe? Did you know Canada is being coerced by Islamic immigrants who wish to institute sharia law? Did you know Denmark has had murders committed by Islamic immigrants based on their religious disapproval of what someone said or wrote or filmed? Did you know that England has already begun instituting sharia law into English law? Did you know that Muslim immigrants are leaving the middle east in droves and populating every corner of the globe?

If you do not know these things you better get educated and quick. They, Islamic extremist understand to rule the countries of the world you must work in steps, they understand change doesn't happen overnight. First they immigrate more and more and more. They establish themselves as a group and a force to be reckoned with. Then they begin pressuring for changes in the law and suddenly so many have immigrated and they have obtained converts and they have children and now they are genuinely a force to be reckoned with. Denmark is discovering that and facing the complete loss of a Danish identity with in just a few short years. Not only do they face the loss of their Danish identity but they will be a minority in their own country and will no longer hold a voting majority and they will not be able to stop sharia law. That is what Denmark is facing now. Is that what America is already facing?

The Islamic 'utopia' that so many seek will result in the utter degradation of every group of people and every hard fought and hard won right we as Americans have. When homosexuality is punishable by death, come talk to me about Roe v Wade. When women are beaten and they CAN NOT call on law enforcement, come talk to me about Roe v Wade. When a human being (woman or non-Muslim) is once again considered chattel, come talk to me about Roe v Wade. When you are told you can no longer go out in public without a headscarf, come talk to me about Roe v Wade.

You think voting for Barack Obama is a vote for Pro-Choice? Guess what it is a vote against choice of any kind other than what he and his minions will allow. How many articles have been scrubbed from the web? How many youtube videos have been dumped? How much has Google invested in Barack Obama? Remember the Truth Squad? Public LAW ENFORCEMENT being used at taxpayer expense AGAINST THE PUBLICS POTENTIAL EXERCISE OF FREE SPEECH. You think you are protecting your rights when in fact history proves you wrong. Every miracle candidate from history has been nothing short of an utter disgrace as a leader. Inevitably leaving every nation they have ruled over in utter ruins and MILLIONS DEAD, TORTURED, MURDERED OR SIMPLY VANISHED.

Yet, this election will give validation to one of America's best known quotes. This quote is attributed to one of our nations finest snake oil salesmen, none other than P.T. Barnum.

When you are watching votes tally up for Barack Obama, just hear the words as if P.T. Barnum is whispering them in your ear........."There is a sucker born every minute" but I think old P.T. Barnum might add something to that in consideration of our current political situation.....Theres a sucker born every minute and Barack Obama found every one of them.

Obama's Iraq Plan Is Making the Same Mistake Twice by Mike

Recently I had a heated discussion with some of my co-workers. This heated discussion was about Obama's talk about unilaterally withdrawing from Iraq. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you my opinion. I did not want the U.S. to go into Iraq in the first place, but that does not change the fact that we are there. The question now is how do we get out?

To truly understand what will happen in Iraq should the U.S. withdraw unilaterally you need to look at another country in the same region, Afghanistan. Yes, Afghanistan, the home country of the Taliban and long time refuge of al-quida. People seem to have forgotten or perhaps never knew what actually happened in Afghanistan.

In 1979 Afghanistan's mujahideen freedom fighters began fighting the Russians 13 years later with the help of the U.S. the Afghanistan Freedom fighters succeeded in freeing their country from soviet oppression. Afghanistan then set up its own government.. There were three factions that had fought long and hard against Russia to free Afghanistan, fighting overwhelming odds and overwhelming firepower at times even downing Russian helicopters with nothing more than pure intestinal fortitude and rocks [no kidding]. The government they formed after the Russian's left was a good government that actually served the people.

Al-quida was there, as was the Taliban, after all they were key figures in the fight for freedom, but the government that was set up was the third faction the mujahideen. Ahmad Shah Massoud the key military leader of the freedom fighters was appointed defense minister under President Burhanuddin Rabbani.

Very shortly after President Burhanuddin RabbanI was elected the U.S. decided to unilaterally withdraw its meager support and the winds of change began blowing in a very ugly direction. Soon al-qaida and the Taliban began fighting to arrest power away from the people. In a ruthless grab for power and an attempt to establish a totalitarian theocracy. This theocracy would exercise a religious iron grip on the nations people.

In 1993 President Burhanuddin RabbanI was overthrown. Massoud was driven into the mountains with a few government loyalist. This formed the basis for the United Islamic Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan commonly known as the "Northern Alliance". Massoud and the 'Northern Alliance' spent the next 8 years fighting to free his beloved country once again, this time from people they had once fought along side.

Without U.S. support the possibility of overthrowing the Taliban was almost nil but Massoud and his followers continued to fight with only one goal, the dream of restoring their beloved homeland.

Massoud would never see that day. On September 9th 2001 Massoud was killed by an al-quida suicide bomber posing as a reporter.

With the only man capable of deposing them now dead, al-qaida felt free to carry out the devastating attacks of September 11, 2001. Al-qaida knew they could not attempt to execute the plot that was carried out on September 11, 2001 if Massoud was still alive. Had they done so, they knew America would re-establish its support for the 'Northern Alliance' which would re-invigorate the common people of Afghanistan giving Massoud and America a strong foothold in Afghanistan and destroying al-qaidas hold on the people of Afghanistan.

Now think about Iraq. If we make the same mistake in Iraq we did in Afghanistan and withdraw too soon civil war will escalate and someone worse than Saddam Hussein will once again rise to power, set on ruling with an iron fist and allowing terrorists to train openly and freely. This will, some day come back to haunt our children. Once again terrorism will reach our shores, and once again we will find ourselves embroiled in a war involving Iraq and Afghanistan.

We've gone down this path before, we cant afford to make the same mistake again. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Barack Obama has a Lipstick Pig in an Abortion Polk by Karen Hill

Well well, 'Mr.Audacity' Barack Obama opened his mouth and inserted his foot. Which was promptly followed by Carol Fowler, South Carolina DNC Chairperson, promptly helping Barack Obama along by opening her mouth and inserting both her feet.

Gov. Sarah Palin made the comment "the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull is lipstick". Followed approx. a week later by the Democratic nominee Barack Obama saying "you can put lipstick on a pig. It is still a pig". When surprisingly

there was an outcry from the public and the media, Barack Obama tells us "enough with the righteous indignation". Ok, that is simply adding insult to injury. Not the first time there has been a subtle slight by Barack Obama. Anyone remember the shoulder brushing? Anyone remember the flip off finger scratching his cheek? Barack Obama is just full of opps isn't he?

Then today Carol Fowler, South Carolina DNC Chairperson, who is married to Don Fowler of the DNC states "Sarah Palin's primary qualification to be Vice President is that she has not had an abortion" this is according to Politico. Now we all know Don Fowler who reportedly made some insulting comments about New Orleans evacuating over hurricane Gustav "I guess God is on our side" We also know Donald Fowler from emailing and faxing and phoning about the RBC meeting and about the roll call vote. Well, Carol Fowler is his wife and also a super delegate, purportedly a professional woman who supposedly has an eduction beyond the 3rd grade, yet apparently only tripe, stinking rotten tripe, comes out of her mouth.

Shame Shame Shame is it clear to everyone what the Democratic Party has deteriorated to? Can you even identify with the remark by Carol Fowler, South Carolina DNC Chairperson? I can not even remotely identify with that disgusting personal attack on anyone for any reason. The comments by Carol Fowler are not simply an insult to Sarah Palin but to every single man and woman. How dare she! I am so disgusted I am speechless.

Bill Clinton Speaking Volumes as Always by Karen Hill

Bill Clinton's words have never been spoken lightly nor frivolously. When the former President of the United States William Jefferson Clinton speaks, he always has something more than worth listening to. Lately he has not disappointed me. Should we, Hillary Clinton supporters, be listening more closely to the words of a former Democratic President? A man who was a Rhodes Scholar? A man who was one of the most popular and beloved Democratic Presidents of my lifetime. A man who was the only Democratic President to be elected to two terms since FDR? A man who as president left us with trillions of dollars in surplus when he ended his second term as our president? A man who has always put America first.

Reportedly speaking to a foreign relations group in Denver on August 26th former President Bill Clinton privileged us with an analogy of candidate X and candidate Y.

"Suppose for example you are a voter and you have candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don't think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half of the issues but you believe that on the other half the candidate will be able to deliver.

For whom will you vote?

This is the kind of question I predict, and this has nothing to do with whats going on now."

The above is a direct quote from his speech given on August 26th 2008, once again by former President Bill Clinton. I think he speaks words of wisdom that many should put contemplation into.

Obamatopia The Utopian Promises of Barack Obama by Karen Hill

Barack Obama delivers an eloquent inspirational speech. He is an outstanding orator. His stump speeches are full of the utopia we all want, Fair Taxes, Health Care for Everyone, Equal Pay for Equal Work, Responsible Renewable Energy Independence and lets not forget Education for Everyone. Barack Obama's Obamatopia sounds like a wonderful place. Doesn't it? It also sounds quite similar to Herbert Hoover’s “A chicken in every pot” speech. Is there something we are missing? It sounds too good to be true.

Lets look at some of these issues and some of these promises and see what we find.

Obama's version of Fair Taxes:

This is commonly referred to by some as redistribution of wealth. "redistribution of wealth" is a phrase that is supposed to give you a Robin Hood hero warm fuzzy feeling. The truth is far from that. It is true the wealthy have too many tax loop holes. Do loop holes exist in Barack Obama's tax plan for the wealthier taxpayer? Of course, you are already living in Utopia if you think there are not new tax loop holes written into Obama's plan. Hidden in the phrase 'redistribution of wealth' is more ugliness. Where in that phrase do you find initiative? Where is reward for hard work? Where is innovation? You will not find reward, initiative or innovation in ’redistribution of wealth’ nor will you find heart, soul, drive or ambition. Redistribution of Wealth quashes the heart and soul and puts roadblocks in front of drive and ambition, and steals all rewards and it has another names. Those names are socialism, Marxism and in its extreme form Communism.

Obama's version of Health Care for Everyone:

This is a botulism infested plan being served up to the American people under the guise of helping everyone achieve insured status. Ah, but here again we must look underneath the eloquent phraseology. Is this a business friendly plan a tax payer friendly plan? NO, it is neither nor is it a good plan and I firmly believe every American has the constitutional right to quality health care. Barack Obama's plan calls for an end to the subsidies for supplemental Medicare. Proof Part 1 Part 2

Let me give you some EXACT DOLLAR AMOUNTS FROM A LIVING BREATHING GENUINE SENIOR CITIZEN. Medicare 97.00 per month, Medicare Supplement $180.00 per month Supplement Drug Coverage 94.00 per month. Total Insurance Bill Monthly $371.00. For a bit of background, a senior citizen must have supplemental policies because Medicare actually pays very little but it is basically required, for example the deductible is between 600.00-1000.00, there are an enormous amount of things Medicare does not cover on top of that. One hospitalization, one surgery, one doctors visit could run into the hundreds and/or thousands of dollars, so the supplemental insurance is a must. I happen to know the dollar amount quoted above is not the cheapest nor is it by far the most expensive it is pretty middle of the road senior citizen Part B supplemental insurance.

1332.00 Total Monthly Income

-959.00 Rent Elderly Apartment Includes Medically required minimal addition care (One of the least expensive places in the state. State average is 1800.00-2000.00 per month)

How is she surviving with a 565.00 per month negative? Her son his pushing is financial limits. His family does without. He has no ability to fund his retirement. He pays her remaining bills and provides a bit extra here and there. His and his family’s sacrifices save the taxpayers approx 4000.00 per month since they are doing all they can to keep her out of a nursing home. In a nursing home she becomes the ward of the government. A nursing home is not where this senior citizen belongs. I know this family and many others like them.

Now that is not all there is to Barack Obama's health care plan that we should take more time to examine. Cost. Is this business friendly? A good universal health care plan MUST be business friendly. Buy a clue here people. Business is not our enemy. Businesses employ people they create jobs, they are that dream someone was willing to sink every penny into and every moment of every day of their time and energy to build. American business is the very foundation of our security.

What we build what we create what we buy is who and what we are. In short any universal health care plan has to be American business friendly and this one is far from it. I know in Barack Obama's speeches it sounds like no one will have to pay anything for health care insurance, at least not anymore than what they are paying now. Well, that is simply a financial impossibility.

By the way, middle America needs to look closer at all the utopian "tax credits" many of these equalizing plans within Barack Obama's health care plans are "tax credits". In short that means you pay now we will owe you a year later, maybe. It also means your income tax forms will grow exponentially.

Equal Pay for Equal Work:

According to studies women earn approx. 70 cents on the dollar. That is horrible. It is unfair and it is quite simply wrong. This is not, in my opinion, an issue that requires legislation. Rather I feel that time is something that has been the friend of women since the women’s struggle began. Time breaks down barriers, time proves many wrong, time teaches truths. Women did not always earn 70 cents on the dollar, that figure has risen over time and it will continue to do so. Responsible Renewable Energy:

I do no think anyone is approaching this issue correctly, so lets look at Barack Obama's ideas. The impression you get from his stump speeches is he intends to pour money into renewable energy, consider offshore drilling and table nuclear power. Well, I am 100% in favor of tabling nuclear energy, so I have no issue with that. If he intends to pour money into renewable energy companies where is this money going to come from? We already owe China our very soil? Oh wait, he is going to take away tax credits from the oil companies, sorry almost forgot. Umm, has anyone noticed oil companies do NOT go without profit? Who is going to make this money up in their budgets? I will tell you who, YOU at the pump. Its absolutely asinine to assume the oil companies are simply going to absorb this money. They will not, nor would any other company. They will pass it on to you and me the consumer. You must want our gas to reach 6.00 per gallon or more because to buy into this short sighted over inflated plan will result in something like that. Now lets look at the off shore drilling issue. I am not really sure where to go with this one. In the beginning Barack Obama was opposed to more drilling now he is willing to consider it so who knows where he actually stands on off shore drilling or where he will stand in 3 months time. What can I say, I still do not think anyone has provided the American people with a truly visionary plan that would benefit everyone immediately, the consumer, big oil, little business owners, energy companies, home heating oil customers. I know that plan does exist, I have listened to it and researched it and its the most incredible visionary solution I have ever had the pleasure to learn about. Unfortunately it was not written or conceived of by a politician it was conceived of by a regular everyday person.

Education:

My personal stand on this issue is every child must have free access to some higher education, MUST. This is imperative for the future of our country as well as the future of our children. Barack Obama agrees with me on this, to a point. He wraps his education plan up into, once again, "tax credits" remember that means you pay now and we owe you later, maybe. That is not all there is though, hidden within his education plan, if I understand it correctly, there is a civil service clause. I am not opposed to someone providing of civil service in exchange for an education but there are quite a few questions left open on this civil service clause. Too many questions. Not to mention massive options for fraud and abuse.

So it seems in short Barack Obama's plans leave us with 10 times the IRS forms to fill out, a lot less money in our pockets, health care and education and possibly energy taken over by the government, senior citizens screwed as well as their families. As for his Pro Choice stand and his Pro Equal Pay for Equal Work stand, I personally do not think he respects any woman other than Michelle Obama. I think he looks down on every other woman.

I predict women on the whole are in for pandering in Olympic proportions from the Junior Senator from Illinois Barack Obama. Consider this question, Are women working for Barack Obama's campaign paid the same as the men working for his campaign? No they are not, so much for equal work equal pay.

August 26, 2008 America witnessed a superb performance by Michelle Obama; as well as others, but there is no doubt Michelle Obama can deliver a heck of a speech. It was a completely scripted performance of course. Definitely worthy of an Oscar award. Although her speech writers left out an awful lot of information.

Like the juicy little tidbit about Bernadine Dohrn working for the same law firm that Michelle and Barack Obama were working for, all at the same time. Sidley Austin Law Firm. You all know who Bernardine Dohrn is right? She is the wife of the ever so lovely Mr. William Ayers. She is the supposed ringleader of the Weather Underground. That wonderful group of misdirected youths that planned to BOMB a dance for OUR SOLDIERS at Ft. Dix New Jersey. Now just in case my verbiage was too flowery for you, here it is a bit simpler. THEY TRIED TO MASS MURDER UNITED STATES SOLDIERS.

Soldiers like your husband or your brother or your son or your daughter or your neighbor down the street or that nice young person from church, who's memorial service you attended.

Oh yes, I almost forgot, it was their misdirected youth, thats all. However there are video recordings of Bernadine Dohrn and William Ayers telling Connie Chung, fairly recently, they did not go far enough and they wish they had been more militant and there are more lovely pro-American comments by this lovely couple all over main stream media.

I think the speech writers were correct to leave this part out, but there was so much that got left out. The writers of that verbal river of sludge wrapped in a beautiful bow that the DNC desperately attempted to sell should be honored. They spun everything beautifully.

The goal was to make everyone feel un American if you do not support Barack Obama. If you question Barack or Michelle Obama you are supposed to feel simply horrible about yourself. You are supposed to ask yourself how you could have ever thought ill of her? How could you have ever questioned her? Why she is just like you after all...etc.

America seems to have ingrained the ability to be sold anything, even if it is against their own interest. Take a couple of lines from Michelle's speech, a couple of much overlooked lines.

"to find the strength within ourselves to strive for the world as it should be"

"that we committed ourselves, we committed ourselves to building the world as it should be."

Michelle, I am not about "building the world" we need help here at home. America needs a whole lot more than hope right now. American needs someone that is going to put America 1st for a change INSTEAD of the world. When we had a thriving economy, when we had a strong dollar, we did not ignore the world but America came 1st. I am not sure when the shift actually occurred but there has been a shift. A shift called globalism.

I am a democrat but may I remind you this nation elected and the re-elected G.W.Bush one of the most unaccomplished politicians in the history of this country (when he was elected). Do we seek to one up ourselves in 2008? Inexperience and arrogance got us into the mess we are in now, do want just want to elect more inexperience and arrogance, although these days its called audacity?

You know those late night infomercials "YOU TOO CAN BE A BIZILLIONAIR JUST BUY THIS KIT" Well tonight you were privy to view many hours of a sales infomercial. All hype no substance. Is that all we expect from our party?

Monday night the DNC Convention was all spin with very little truth and it was such a beautifully spun spiders web at that. Who will get caught in the media/convention spiders web of spin?
